Getting Around Modena and Reggio Emilia

Modena has an excellent public transport network for the city and the province (see www.atcm.mo.it) with buses running from every 10 to 30 minutes. The only line with night service is number 7, which runs from the train station to the Hospital (Policlinico), passing through the city center, after 20:30 on weekdays and after 19:30 on Sundays and holidays. Holders of bus passes can use taxis at a reduced rate if they take a taxi at one of 9 selected stops in the city (the service is called Taxibus; fares start from €3.50).

Reggio Emilia has an efficient public transport network for the city and the province (see www.actre.it), with buses running every 10 to 30 minutes. There is a free minibus service (called "minibù"), connecting parking areas - where you can leave your car in the city center - to various other important points of the city. For getting around at night, you can use the "Aladino" night bus service which allows you to plan and book various routes and choose times and stops by simply calling the number +39 0522 927654.
